AfroTech is big. Fast. Loud. Full of opportunity. You may only get a few minutes with a recruiter, mentor, founder, or industry leader — and in a conference this large, being impressive isn’t always enough. You also have to be memorable. In this interactive session presented by Howard University’s Center for Digital Business and North Carolina A&T State University’s Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics, you’ll practice how to introduce yourself, talk about your experience, and communicate your value in a way that actually sticks. Using AI-powered feedback through PitchVantage, you’ll test a response, see how it lands, decide what feedback is useful, and try it again. Along the way, we’ll talk about what makes someone memorable in a professional setting: clarity, specificity, confidence, and sounding like an actual person. You’ll leave with a stronger introduction, better instincts for high-stakes conversations, and a practical way to use AI to prepare for interviews, networking, presentations, and other moments when how you communicate matters.
