Akim Niyonzima

Biography

Akim Niyonzima is the co-founder and CTO of Nimbus Aerospace, an investor-backed aerospace company developing next-generation hybrid-electric business aircraft. The company integrates advanced manufacturing with proprietary, AI-driven certification software built in-house. Nimbus is backed by Techstars and advised by leaders from SpaceX, Boeing, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Akim leads a team of engineers with experience at organizations including Raytheon and Microsoft. Prior to co-founding Nimbus Aerospace, he worked in avionics and operations at Bombardier.
