AFROTECH 2026 — PRIVATE ROUNDTABLES

The Room

Closed-door conversations with 15–20 people who run things in your industry. No panels. No keynotes. Just the people you've been trying to get in front of.

By invitation and application only.

How you get a seat.

Each room holds 25 people max. Everyone in it was chosen to be there. Here's the process.

Hold a Qualifying Ticket

You need an Executive, Medical, or All Access ticket to AfroTech 2026. That's the baseline.

Executive · Medical · All Access

Get Invited or Apply

We're reaching out directly to some people. If you didn't get an invite, you can apply below. Same review process either way.

Two paths, one standard

Get Selected

We read every application. Seats are first come, first served. Expect a response within 2–3 weeks.

First come, first served

Show up with meetings already on
your calendar.

Most people go to conferences and hope they bump into the right person. This is the opposite of that.

Pre-scheduled access

Arrive at AfroTech with a roster of meetings already locked in. No wandering the expo floor hoping for a conversation. You know who you're sitting with before you land.

Reconnect and expand

Already working with someone in the room? Good. A closed-door setting is where existing relationships turn into new deals, new partnerships, and new ways to work together.

Real pipeline, real ROI

This is the fastest way to get in front of your top prospects and future customers. One room, 60-90 minutes, and you leave with real leads and real business opportunities.

Seven rooms. Pick yours.

60–90 minutes, closed door, Chatham House Rules. Face sheets and LinkedIns shared before you walk in. Nothing recorded.

NextGen: Future Leadership, presented by Thurgood Marshall College Fund

This conversation brings together the people responsible for closing the talent gap to examine which leadership and pipeline programs are actually producing results, what has been lost as programs and investments have been cut, and where the strongest models are emerging.

Future of Work, presented by Best Buy

This conversation will look at how companies are restructuring work in practice: which roles are being created, which are disappearing, how expectations for early-career talent are shifting, and what employers need to rethink as they build the workforce of the future.

MedTech Innovation, presented by MedTech Color

Getting a medical innovation from prototype to market remains one of the hardest paths in business. This conversation brings together the people navigating that process to discuss what is getting funded, what is getting cleared, where promising products stall, and what it actually takes to build and scale in today's regulatory and investment environment.

Executive Innovation presented by Intuit

CEOs and senior leaders, off the record. The kind of conversation that only happens when there are no cameras and everyone at the table has been in the chair.

Who should apply C-suite or senior leadership (VP and above) at companies of any size.

Access to Care presented by NAACP

Clinical research still doesn't reach the communities it's supposed to serve. If you're working to change that, from trial design to community trust, this is your table.

Who should apply Professionals in clinical research, pharma, biotech, or health equity.

Human Centered AI presented by Lenovo

AI is moving fast. The question is whether it's moving in a direction that actually works for the people it's supposed to serve. A conversation about building AI that centers real communities, not just efficiency metrics.

Who should apply AI researchers, product leaders, ethicists, policy professionals, and founders building AI products with a human-first approach.

Smart Cities Roundtable

The decisions cities make today about infrastructure, energy, technology, and development will shape their communities for decades. This conversation brings together the leaders making those decisions to discuss how they evaluate competing priorities, negotiate with private-sector partners, and determine what communities should receive in return for the investments being made around them.

What you should know before you apply.

Who can apply?

You need an Executive, Medical, or All Access ticket to AfroTech 2026. Don't have one yet? You can still apply. We'll just need you to get your ticket before we lock in your seat.

How are attendees selected?

We review every application ourselves. We care less about your title and more about whether you'll add something real to the conversation.

When will I hear back?

2–3 weeks after you apply.

Can I apply to more than one?

You can apply to multiple, but we cap it at one roundtable per person. Choose the one where you'll get the most out of it.

What's the format?

60–90 minutes behind closed doors. Chatham House Rules, so nothing gets attributed outside the room. A facilitator runs the session around 2–3 questions. You'll receive face sheets and LinkedIn profiles of other attendees in advance so you know who's in the room.

Is there an additional cost?

No. It's included with your Executive, Medical, or All Access ticket. No extra fee.
